Fall Decorating With Pumpkins

In gorgeous shades of orange and creams, and variety of sizes and shapes from big and round to cute and squatty, who couldn't love pumpkins?  With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I decided to dedicate this week to them.  Whether they are used in decorating, fun activities, or in delicious recipes, this versatile squash is a much loved symbol of the fall season.

    I love the pumpkin chandelier.. I had not really thought about decorating with them... I did notice a farm up the road is giving them away... which I thought was great... instead of the pumpkin patch down the road that just tilled them all in the day after Thanksgiving. I love to cook and bake with pumpkin and all I could think of was how much soup those pumpkins could have made for the homeless.
